A half day trip which drives you up Mount Dikeos to Zia, the highest mountain village. Tiny traditional houses & colourful courtyards, delightful souvenir stalls as well as the most amazing view …. You can enjoy some free time. The ancient Greeks discovered wine as nature’s gift and it has been etched into the Greek DNA. For this reason we visit a local vineyard to become acquainted with Dionysos the God of wine. Another distinctive Greek flavour is the olive which has been blessed since ancient times. Therefore a cultural opportunity to get to know more about another important local industry. A visit to a local olive press next to the olive groves themselves makes us realize why the olive is a sacred symbol.
